Tofu Nut Patties
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon liquid egg substitute
- 1 cup bread crumbs whole wheat
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup walnuts finely chopped
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds lightly roasted
- 1/2 cup millet or brown rice, pre-cooked
- 2 tablespoons almond oil
- 2 tablespoons parsley leaves
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 18 teaspoon rosemary leaves ground
- 1/2 pound tofu crumbled
- Mix the water and egg replacer together.
- Blend the remaining ingredients, except for the tofu, in a food processor.
- Process until well mixed, then stir in the tofu.
- Form into 8 patties.
- Place on grill or in frying pan and grill until browned on both sides.
