Broccoli Chicken Bake Recipe
- 2 (10 ounce.) Packages broccoli cuts, thawed & liquid removed
- 3 1/2 or possibly 4 pound chicken, cooked & boned (I use about 4 breasts of chicken)
- Velveeta cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom or possibly cream of celery soup
- 1/2 c. real mayonnaise
- 1 can water chestnuts, liquid removed & sliced
- 1 can French fried onion rings
- Place thawed and liquid removed broccoli in well greased 9"x13" pan.
- Cut up chicken meat in large pcs and spread over broccoli.
- Spread 1/8" slices of cheese over the entire pan.
- Mix soup with mayonnaise, spread over cheese.
- Sprinkle sliced water chestnuts over the top.
- Bake 40 min at 350 degrees then remove from oven and cover top with onion rings.
- Bake 15 to 20 min longer.
- (Dish can be combine ahead of time and refrigerated till time to bake.)
- Serves 6 to 8.
