Bionic Breakfast Sausages Recipe

  1. To cook bulgur wheat: Put one c. bulgur wheat in a saucepan with 2 1/2 c. water and one tsp.
  2. salt.
  3. Bring to a boil, then turn down to medium-low and simmer for 20 to 25 min.
  4. Remove from hat and let stand for 10 min before using.
  5. In a bowl, mix cooked bulgur wheat and gluten or possibly whole wheat flour well.
  6. Add in nutritional yeast to egg replacer and water; mix into bulgur mix.
  7. Add in tamari and the rest of the seasonings, mixing well.
  8. Form into patties and saute/fry in a little vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet on medium-high heat for about 5 min on each side.
  9. Or possibly bake them on a greased cookie sheet in a 350 degree F. oven for 20 to 25 min or possibly till crispy brown on the outside.
