Baked Manicotti w/ Beef

  1. In a skillet, brown ground beef seasoned with salt & pepper and garlic and onion powder.
  2. Set aside to cool.
  3. In a large pot, boil manicotti shells in salted water 4 to 6 minutes until slightly soft.
  4. Brush a teaspoon of oil on a large baking sheet.
  5. Transfer manicotti to baking sheet and cool.
  6. Combine the ricotta, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella, and 1/2 cup parmesan cheeses and parsley.
  7. Stir in the ground beef.
  8. Pre heat oven to 350
  9. Grease a 13 by 9 inch glass baking dish with remaining 2 teaspoons of olive oil.
  10. Spoon in 1 cup of the pasta sauce to baking dish.
  11. Stuff the manicotti shells with the cheese / meat mixture and place in a single layer in baking dish.
  12. Cover with remaining sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.
  13. Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes.
  14. Let stand 5 minutes and serve.
