Homemade Chicken and Noodles
- 4 chicken breast halves (or any part of the chicken)
- 4 carrots, cut up in 1-inch pieces
- 2 celery stalks, cut up in bite-size pieces
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 cups hot water
- 1-1/2 cup noodles
- 1 tbsp. butter
- maragine
- Pepper, to taste
- Lawry Seasoning Salt, to taste
- Garlic salt, to taste
- Clean the chicken throughly.
- Boil the chicken in two cups of hot water.
- Once boiling, add the chicken bouillon cubes.
- Cook the chicken until it is no longer pink, or until it is tender enough to tear with a fork.
- Add the carrots and cook for about 10 minutes or until tender, then add the green peppers, celery, and onion.
- Cook all that for about 5 minutes, then add the noodles and the butter.
- Continously stir and check the noodles to make sure they are not sticking (if necessary, add more water).
- Cook until the noodles are tender but firm.
