Easy & Homemade Sauce for Chilled Chinese Noodles

  1. When you have the time, place the ingredients into a pot and bring it to a boil.
  2. Use it after it has cooled.
  3. When making this for children, omit the Japanese mustard.
  4. When you are really pinched for time, mix all of the ingredients really really well, but only if you're in a rush.
  5. I recommend substituting doubanjiang or gochujiang for the Japanese mustard for a slightly different spin of the dish.
