Apple Glazed Dessert Pancake Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 425 .Heat margarine in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add in apple; saute/fry 3 min.
  3. Stire in brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; cook 2 min.
  4. Combine juice, water, and cornstarch in a small bowl.
  5. Stir well; add in to skillet.
  6. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute or possibly unitl thick, stirring gently.
  7. Remove apple mix from skillet; set aside, and keep hot.
  8. wipe skillet clean with a paper towel.
  9. Place skillet in oven for 5 min.
  10. Combine flour and 1 c. lowfat milk in a large bowl; stir well witha whisk.
  11. Sstir in 1 c. lowfat milk, vavnilla, and next 4 ingredients (vanilla through egg whites); set aside.
  12. Coat skillet with cooking spray; pour batter into preheated skillet.
  13. Bake at 425 for 25 min or possibly till puffy and brown around edges.
  14. Remove from oven; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  15. Cut into wedges; top with apple mix.
  16. Serve immediately.
