Kettle Corn
- 1/2 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
- 2 tbsp canola, vegetable, or coconut oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- Begin to make stovetop popcorn.
- When popping has almost subsided,remove pot from heat.
- Add suger and salt,then return to low heat 20 seconds, shaking 3 or 4 times.
- The suger should be just starting to melt and caramelize.
- Transfer popcorn to a large bowl and serve.
- Makes about 10 cups 4 servings .
- Total time 10 minutes
