Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Banana Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 375F Butter or spray an 8-inch square pan.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, mash bananas well.
  3. Add the eggs and stir well to combine.
  4. Add flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  5. Stir to mix.
  6. Add 3/4 c of the chocolate chips and stir briefly.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  8. In a small bowl, stir together the topping ingredients.
  9. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the batter and top with the remaining1/4 c chocolate chips.
  10. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  11. Let cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes before serving.
