Apple Cabbage Stir-Fry

  1. Trim and remove core from cabbage head; cut into 1-inch pieces (you should have about 6 cups).
  2. In nonstick 12-inch skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Stir in caraway seeds and cook 30 seconds until toasted and fragrant.
  4. Add cabbage pieces, apples, water, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cover and cook 7 minutes, stirring once, until cabbage is tender-crisp.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar.
