Lumpia Shanghai Recipe
- 1 pound lean grnd pork
- 1 pound lean grnd beef
- 1/2 pound grnd shrimp
- 1 big onion or possibly green onion, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- 1 c. minced carrots
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon MSG
- Lumpia wrapper (available at Oriental store)
- Mix thoroughly all ingredients except Lumpia wrapper and oil for frying.
- Take a heaping tablespoonful and roll in Lumpia wrapper.
- Make a long roll about 3/4-inch diameter.
- Cut to 2-inch pcs using a very sharp knife.
- Deep fat fry.
- Serve with sweet sour sauce.
