Updated Fettuccine Carbonara
- 220 g whole wheat fettuccine, uncooked
- 2 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup Philadelphia Light Cream Cheese Product
- 1/4 cup Kraft Calorie-Wise Creamy Caesar Dressing
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 cup skim milk
- 90 g ham steak, cut into thin strips
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 3 Tbsp. Kraft 100% Parmesan Light Grated Cheese
- Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding peas to the boiling water for the last 3 min.
- Meanwhile, beat cream cheese product, dressing and flour in medium saucepan with whisk until well blended.
- Gradually stir in milk.
- Add ham; cook on medium-low heat 5 min.
- or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Drain pasta mixture; return to saucepan.
- Add cream cheese sauce; mix lightly.
- Cook 2 to 3 min.
- or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Top with parsley and Parmesan.
