Mother's Cheese Cakes (Christmas)

  1. Oven 350F (180C).
  2. Make recipe of pie pastry and line small muffin tins with pastry rounds cut to fit.
  3. Or make this crust if you prefer: 1/4 lb.
  4. butter, 3 oz.
  5. package of cream cheese, 1 cup sifted flour.
  6. Mix together and press into tiny muffin tins.
  7. Put 1 teaspoon filling into unbaked pastry lined muffin tins.
  8. Bake at 350F (180C) for 20 minutes.
  9. Run knife around tart when done to loosen.
  10. Remove to wire racks to cool.
  11. Store in tin box between layers of wax paper.
