Umami Steakhouse Burgers
- A.1. Sour Cream
- 1/2 cup A.1. Original Sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Caramelized Onions & Mushrooms
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 cups yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cups button mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup grape jelly
- Sandwich Assembly
- 16 slices plum tomato slices
- 2 tsp. oil
- ground chuck, shaped into 6-oz. patties
- 16 each sesame seed sandwich rolls, split
- 16 slices HOFFMAN'S Horseradish Processed Cheese Food Slice
- A.1.
- Sour Cream: Mix ingredients.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Caramelized Onions & Mushrooms: Heat oil in skillet on medium-low heat; add onions and mushrooms.
- Cook until onions are caramelized, stirring occasionally.
- Deglaze pan with vinegar and jelly; set aside.
- For each serving: Brush each tomato slice with 1/8 tsp.
- oil.
- Broil until lightly charred, then finely chop.
- Grill 1 burger patty to desired doneness.
- Fill 1 roll with 1 cooked burger, 1 cheese slice, 1 Tbsp.
