Easter Pink Easy Bunny Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Make, bake and cool cake as directed on box for 2 (8-inch or 9-inch) round cake pans, using water, oil and eggs.
  3. nd cool cake as directed on box for two 8-inch round cake pans or you can make your own cake.
  4. Reserve 1 layer for another use or to make a second different bunny cake.
  5. In a medium bowl, tint frosting with pink or any your favorite food color.
  6. Using 1 cake, cut in half to form 2 semicircles.
  7. Put halves together with 1/4 cup frosting to form body.
  8. Place upright on serving plate, cut side down.
  9. Frost cake with frosting.
  10. Cut ears from construction paper, insert into cake.
  11. Use 1 small marshmallow halves and 1 small jelly bean halves for eyes.
  12. Use large jelly bean for nose and licorice strips for whiskers.
  13. Place two mini-marshmallows just under the nose for teeth.
  14. Use large marshmallow for tail.
  15. Keep in the refrigerator loosely covered.
