Freda Kuykendall's Beef Burgundy - Beef Burgundy
- 2 lbs (.9 kg). or more beef stew meat
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small can of sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 pkg. dried onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) red wine
- salt and pepper to taste
- cooked noodles or rice
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees (175 C.).
- Grease, or spray with a non stick spray like Pam, a 1-1/2 quarts (1425 ml) casserole dish.
- Mix all the ingredients together and pour into the prepared casserole dish.
- Then take aluminum foil and cover the dish completely ALL around it, sides, top, all around it, making a full enclosure.
- Bake in a 325 degree (175 C.) oven for 3 hours.
- DO NOT PEEK the whole 3 hours.
- Serve over noodles or rice
