Freda Kuykendall's Beef Burgundy - Beef Burgundy

• 2 lbs (.9 kg). or more beef stew meat
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 1 small can of sliced mushrooms
• 1/2 pkg. dried onion soup mix
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) red wine
• salt and pepper to taste
• cooked noodles or rice

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees (175 C.).
2. Grease, or spray with a non stick spray like Pam, a 1-1/2 quarts (1425 ml) casserole dish.
3. Mix all the ingredients together and pour into the prepared casserole dish.
4. Then take aluminum foil and cover the dish completely ALL around it, sides, top, all around it, making a full enclosure.
5. Bake in a 325 degree (175 C.) oven for 3 hours.
6. DO NOT PEEK the whole 3 hours.
7. Serve over noodles or rice
