Bread & Butter Salad Recipe
- 1 lg. loaf white bread
- Butter, sufficient to butter each slice of bread
- 1 sm. onion, finely minced
- 4 hard boiled Large eggs, finely minced
- 1 c. celery, minced fine
- 2 cans crab (about 2 c.)
- 2 cans shrimp (about 2 c.)
- 2 c. mayonnaise
- The day before, cut crust from bread and spread each slice with butter and cut into cubes.
- Mix with onions and Large eggs.
- Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
- Four hrs before serving, add in celery, crab and shrimp.
- Mix well with mayonnaise.
- Let stand in refrigerator 4 hrs before serving.
