Slow Cooked Herbed Chicken and Potatoes

  1. Place potatoes in a 6 qt slow cooker.
  2. Remove giblets from chicken if necessary.
  3. In small bowl combine all spices/seasonings.
  4. Rub chicken with herb mixture and place on top of potatoes.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh reaches 175 degreees.
  6. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
