Breakfast Bruschetta
- 4 slices multigrain bread
- 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
- 4 fresh basil leaves
- 1 vidalia onion, thinly sliced (optional)
- Toast or grill bread until lightly browned.
- Top with beautiful ripe tomato slices, salt and pepper to taste, and fresh basil leaves.
- You can also use thinly sliced vidalia onin rings on top of the tomatoes if the taste is not too strong for your palette in the morning.
