Peppermint Chocolate Fudge

  1. In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt.
  2. Remove from heat; stir in peppermint extract.
  3. Spread evenly in foil-lined 9 inch square pan.
  4. Sprinkle with peppermint candy.
  5. Chill 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squares.
  7. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
