Carmines Bread Crumbs

• 1 pound sliced white bread, chopped in a food processor
• 2 3/4 cups grated Romano cheese
• 1 cup chopped garlic
• 1 tablespoon dried oregano
• 1/2 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
• 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper

1. Combine the ingredients in a large bowl and toss thoroughly to incorporate.
2. These bread crumbs are best used the same day, but will last up to 3 days if refrigerated.
