Vanilla Extract

  1. Split open the vanilla beans with a sharp knife.
  2. Add vanilla beans to the vodka.
  3. Seal bottle and shake well.
  4. Store bottle in dark space.
  5. Turn bottle upside down at least once a week.
  6. Cure mixture for at least 3 months.
  7. Pour into small dark bottles, makes a terrific Holiday gift that everyone loves.
