Margarita pie

  1. For crusts, combine pretzel crumbs and butter in a small bowl.
  2. Press crumb mixture into bottom and up sides of two 8 inch pie pans.
  3. Place in refrigerator to chill.
  4. In a microwave safe measuring cup, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over 1/4 cup margarita mix.
  5. Let mixture stand 2 minutes.
  6. Microwave on high power (100%) 40 seconds; stir thoroughly.
  7. Allow to stand 2 minutes or until gelatin is completely dissolved.
  8. In a large bowl, combine gelatin mixture, remaining 3/4 cup margarita mix, condensed milk, tequila, orange liqueur, and food coloring until well blended and smooth.
  9. Divide filling equally between crusts; chill until firm.
  10. Garnish with lime slices.
  11. Cover and refrigerate.
