Easy Chicken & Dumplings

  1. Make my biscuits.
  2. They're fast and easy.
  3. While biscuits bake, Salt and pepper chicken and brown in a large pan.
  4. Add 1/4 cup of water and stir to scrape up bits from pan.
  5. Add seasonings and stir.
  6. Add 1/2 cup gravy.
  7. Stir.
  8. Simmer 7 minutes.
  9. Add water if needed.
  10. Add vegetables and more water.
  11. Simmer 5 minutes.
  12. Add gravy.
  13. Stir and cook 5 minutes.
  14. Test if all is done.
  15. Eat a piece of chicken and a thick vegetable.
  16. Plating Option one: Cut one biscuit in half and put it on a plate.
  17. Spoon chicken mixture over biscuit.
  18. Serve.
  19. Option 2: Put 2 biscuits on a plate and spoon chicken mixture over biscuits.
  20. Idea: Instead of adding vegetables to the chicken you can serve them as a side dish.
  21. Do everything else the same just don't add vegetables and don't use all the gravy in the pan.
  22. When plating, put the biscuit on the plate, add the chicken on top and pour gravy over the chicken.
