Hamburger Stoganoff
- 14 cup minced onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 12 cup butter
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mushroom (optional)
- Saute onion and garlic in butter over medium heat.
- Stir in meat and brown.
- Add mushrooms, flour, salt and pepper.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- Stir in soup.
- Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
- Add sour cream, mix well and heat through.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta or rice.
