Easy Cheesy Grits Recipe
- 6 c. boiling water
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked regular grits
- 3 Large eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Dash of warm sauce
- 1 tbsp. seasoned salt
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- Combine water and salt, bring to a boil.
- Stir in grits, cover and cook over low heat 20 to 30 min or possibly till done.
- Combine remaining ingredients.
- Add in a small amount of warm grits to egg mix, stirring well, stir egg mix into remaining grits.
- Spoon mix into well greased 3 qt casserole.
- Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour.
- Yield 10 servings.
