Fried Chicken with Teriyaki Sauce

  1. Mix all marinate ingredient with the chicken.
  2. Marinate for at least 1 hr in the refrigerator.
  3. Once ready to cook, beat the egg and dip the marinated chicken and coat with bread crumbs.
  4. Heat a skillet with cooking oil and deep fry chicken on low heat.
  5. Careful not to burn the coating.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken and drain the excess oil by placing on a kitchen towel paper.
  7. On another skillet, make the sauce.
  8. Stir fry onions, garlic and ginger.
  9. Add water and let it boil.
  10. Once boiled, pour in the teriyaki sauce and dissolved cornstarch.
  11. Mix well and let sauce thicken.
  12. Mix in the fried chicken into the sauce.
  13. Stir to perfectly coat the chicken with teriyaki sauce.
  14. Serve immediately.
  15. Serving suggestion: serve as topping for japanese rice.
