Micro Marinara Sauce Recipe

  1. Or possibly 2 pounds fresh tomatoes, peeled & quartered.
  2. Combine garlic, onions and carrots in a 2 qt microwave casserole.
  3. Add in the extra virgin olive oil.
  4. Cook, uncovered on high for 4 min.
  5. Fold in the vermouth.
  6. Cook mix, uncovered on high for 8 min.
  7. Fold in the tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt and red pepper flakes.
  8. Cook on high till thickened, about 20 min, stirring 4 times.
  9. NOTE: Can be prepared 3 days ahead or possibly frzn for 3 months.
  10. 2 1/2 c..
