Angel Bavarian Dessert

  1. Mix sugar, flour, salt and milk together and bring to boil. Beat and gradually add to custard the 4 egg yolks.
  2. Boil until it coats spoon.
  3. Cool.
  4. Mix gelatin and water and set aside.
  5. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  6. Add to whipped cream or Cool Whip (3/4 of carton).
  7. Add gelatin, coconut, custard and vanilla.
  8. Crumble cake in a 9 x 14-inch dish; cover with custard mix.
  9. Separate cake with fork and let mix soak through cake.
  10. Store in refrigerator until chilled.
  11. Spread rest of Cool Whip (3/4 carton) on top and sprinkle with 1/4 cup coconut.
