Apple And Red Cabbage Recipe

  1. Combine cabbage, onion, water, lemon juice, bouillon granules and caraway seed in a 2 qt saucepan; bring to boiling.
  2. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 7 to 8 min (cabbage should be nearly tender).
  3. Stir in apple.
  4. Cook for 2 to 3 min till both apple and cabbage are tender.
  5. Can garnish with apple slices, if you like.
  6. Makes 4 servings.
