Twenty-Four Hour Slaw
- 1 12 cups vinegar
- 34 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup salad oil
- 1 large head cabbage, shredded
- 2 medium bermuda onions, chopped
- Bring vinegar, sugar, mustard, and salt to a boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Combine salad oil, cabbage and onion.
- Pour hot sauce over cabbage mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate.
- Will keep about 3 weeks in refrigerator.
