Veal Fricasse Recipe
- 1 pound veal
- 1/2 pound country sausage
- 3 slices bacon
- Sm. onion
- 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
- Fresh mushrooms
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Buy lb.
- of cubed veal; take 1/2 lb.
- of country sausage, cut in cubes.
- Render 3 slices of diced bacon, minced onion, and butter.
- Add in meat and sausage and saute/fry till light brown.
- Add in salt and pepper; add in flour, sufficient for gravy.
- Add in 1/4 tsp.
- rosemary; add in fresh mushrooms.
- Stir frequently; simmer 45 min.
- Serve on rice, noodles, or possibly potatoes.
