Hamburger Steak With Mushroom Sauce Recipe

• 2 lbs. grnd beef
• 1 c. bread crumbs
• 1 green pepper, minced
• Dash of salt & pepper
• 1/2 c. lowfat milk
• 1 sm. onion, minced
• 1 can mushroom soup, thinned with 3/4 can water

1. Mix grnd beef with crumbs, lowfat milk, pepper, salt and onions.
2. Form into patties.
3. Brown slightly in small amount of fat.
4. Pour the mushroom sauce over this.
5. Sprinkle green pepper over top.
6. Cover and cook on top of stove, slow heat, for 1 hour.
7. If gravy is thin, remove lid and cook down.
