Marinated Flank Steak

  1. Prepare salad dressing as directed on envelope, using the red wine vinegar.
  2. Add mustard; mix well.
  3. Score both sides of steak; place in resealable plastic bag.
  4. Add 1/2 cup of the dressing mixture; seal bag.
  5. Turn to evenly coat steak with dressing mixture.
  6. Refrigerate 2 hours to marinate.
  7. Preheat broiler.
  8. Remove steak from marinade; discard bag and marinade.
  9. Place steak on rack of broiler pan.
  10. Broil, 6 inches from heat, 8 to 10 min.
  11. on each side or until medium doneness.
  12. Meanwhile, cook peppers and onions in remaining dressing mixture in skillet until crisp-tender.
  13. With knife slanted, cut steak across the grain into thin slices.
  14. Serve topped with the vegetable mixture.
