Jds Caramelized Buffalo Wings
- 2 12 lbs chicken wings, chicken wings, cut up two pieces from each wing with the tips discarded
- 12 cup Frank's red hot sauce
- 13 cup salted butter, Melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon pineapple juice
- 3 dashes Tabasco sauce
- 12 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 4 stalks celery
- 4 medium carrots
- 1 cup blue cheese dressing
- Cut up wings, Rinse wings thoroughly and pat dry.
- Heat oil in large skillet to 375F using thermometer.
- Fry wings in batches to ensure they dont stick together.
- This should take about 6-8 minutes.
- Melt butter and add all ingredients.
- Adjusting Tabasco and cayenne pepper to taste for desired hotness.
- Place cooked wings on paper towel and pat excess oil off the wing.
- Hold wings already cooked in warming oven (200F).
- Take a batch of wings and dip in wing sauce.
- Shake excess wing sauce off and place back in oil for one two minutes.
- You will see the wing sauce caramelize to the wing.
- Remove wings from oil.
- Dip the wings in the sauce and serve with celery, carrots, and blue cheese.
