Simple and Healthy Tofu in Chili Sauce
- 1 block Tofu
- 1 small clove, chopped finely Garlic
- 1 cm piece, chopped finely Ginger
- 20 cm length, chopped White part of a Japanese leek
- 1 tsp Doubanjiang
- 150 ml Hot water
- 1/2 tsp Chinese soup stock powder
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 enough to thicken the sauce Katakuriko slurry
- 1 chopped Green onions or scallions
- Refer toto drain the tofu well.
- Combine the ingredients.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.
- Fry the garlic, ginger, leek and doubanjiang.
- Pour in the sauce and bring to a boil.
- Add the diced tofu.
- Add the scallions and stir in the dissolved katakuriko to thicken.
- Done.
