Easy BBQ Sloppy Joes
- - ground beef
- 1-1/4 qt. green peppers, chopped
- 1-1/4 qt. onions, chopped
- 2 qt. KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
- 2-1/2 cups water
- 40 each hamburger buns, split
- 40 each KRAFT CHEDASHARP Pasteurized Process American Cheese Slice
- Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain.
- Add peppers and onions; cook 5 min.
- or until tender, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in barbecue sauce and water.
- Reduce heat to medium--low; simmer 5 to 10 min.
- or to desired consistency.
- For each serving: Top bottom of bun with 1 process cheese slice and about 1/2 cup (5 to 6 oz.)
- of the meat mixture; cover with top of bun.
