Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 C.).
  2. In medium bowl combine syrup, sugar, and eggs; mix until blended.
  3. Add butter and vanilla and mix until blended.
  4. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour into pie shell and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
  6. Cool for 1 hour before serving.
  7. Serve warm with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream.
