Chili Con Queso
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 can (14 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA, cut up
- 1 can (4 oz.) green chiles, seeded. chopped
- In 12-inch skillet on medium heat, brown meat.
- Drain off grease.
- Add tomato sauce, onion and green pepper, stirring until combined.
- Stir in chili powder and garlic powder.
- Add VELVEETA; stir until melted.
- Add green chilies; stir to combine.
- Serve hot with tortilla chips.
- Makes 4 cups.
