Mile High Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees (225 C.).
  2. Sift dry ingredients together.
  3. Cut lard and butter into dry mixture.
  4. Stir in milk quickly, about 10 strokes.
  5. Knead dough on floured surface, 10 strokes back and forth.
  6. Push dough out rolling to a 3 inch thickness.
  7. Use floured biscuit cutter to cut.
  8. Place close together on greased baking sheet.
  9. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
