Aunt Martha's Ginger Snaps Recipe
- 1 c. Butter
- 1 Tbsp. Ginger
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Soda
- 1 c. Molasses
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 1/2 c. Flour
- Cream butter; add in sugar, and cream till smooth.
- Add in molasses.
- Sift flour with ginger, soda and salt.
- Add in to first mix.
- Form into balls the size of a small walnut.
- Place on greased cookie sheets.
- Flatten with the back of a Tbsp.. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 min.
- Makes about 6dozen.
