Libbi's Chocolate Pie

  1. Beat egg yolks, add milk.
  2. Beat.
  3. Sift together Equal Spoonful, cocoa, flour, and salt in a microwaveable bowl.
  4. Stir in about 1/3 of the milk mixture to make a smooth paste.
  5. Slowly stir in remaining milk/egg until smooth.
  6. Microwave about 4 minutes, stopping every 30 to 60 seconds to stir, until thick.
  7. Add 1T butter and 1/2 t. vanilla, stir until butter melts.
  8. Pour into baked pie shell.
  9. Top with meringue if desired or lite whipped topping.
  10. Chill.
