  1. Combine beef,onion, broth, tomatoes, parsley, basil,beans,cabbage, salt,and pepper in a slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW about 8 hours or until beef is tender.
  3. Cook rotini according to package directions; drain and stir into contents of slow cooker.
  4. Spoon into soup bowls.
  5. Sprinkle with Romano cheese, if desired.
