Tandoori Grilled Chicken

  1. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt with the ginger, onion, garlic, lemon juice, dry mustard, garam masala, salt, and pepper.
  2. Use a small, sharp knife and make shallow 1-inch slashes in the chicken.
  3. Add the chicken to the marinade and turn to coat.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  5. Preheat grill.
  6. Remove the chicken from the marinade, leaving a thin layer of marinade on the legs.
  7. Grill the chicken over medium heat, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through, 20-30 minutes.
