Breakfast Egg & Sausage Bake Recipe

  1. Brown and drain sausage.
  2. Cold.
  3. Beat Large eggs and lowfat milk; add in seasonings and bread cubes.
  4. Mix in sausage and cheese.
  5. Put in 9 x 13 inch pan and chill overnight.
  6. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  8. Cold slightly before cutting.
  9. If desired, add in some sliced mushrooms or possibly a package of broccoli to casserole.
  10. I sometimes substitute fried bacon for the sausage and Swiss cheese for the cheddar.
  11. This casserole must be made ahead of time and is great for breakfast or possibly brunch.
