Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

• 2 1/2 c. flour
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1 (3 1/2 ounce.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
• 1 c. Crisco or possibly 1/2 butter and 1/2 Crisco
• 3/4 c. brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 Large eggs
• 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. chocolate chips
• 1 c. minced nuts, optional

1. Mix flour, soda and pudding mix.
2. Set aside.
3. Cream shortening and sugar.
4. Add in vanilla and Large eggs.
5. Stir in flour mix, mixing well.
6. Batter is stiff.
7. Mix in chocolate chips and nuts.
8. Drop by rounded tsp.
9. on ungreased cookie sheet.
10. Bake at 350 degrees for about 14 min.
11. Makes 7 dozen.
