Lime Jello, Grandma Stoddard's
- 1 (16 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 (3 ounce) packages lime Jell-O gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 (1 lb) cans pears (cut & drained)
- 1 12 cups pear juice
- 12 teaspoon ginger
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Disolve jello in hot water.
- Add pear juice, salt & lemon juice.
- Refrigerate until partially set.
- Beat in softened cream cheese slowly with wire whip.
- Add ginger & mix.
- Fold in pear pieces last.
- Pour into 9 x 12 pan and refrigerate.
