Slow Cooked Barbecue Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound boneless chuck steak, 1 1/2 inch thick
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 c. wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry or possibly prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- To cook: Cut beef on a diagonal across the grain, into slices 1 inch wide.
- Place in a crock pot.
- In small bowl combine remaining ingredients.
- Pour over meat and mix.
- Cover and cook on low 3-5 hrs.
- Serve on toasted hamburger rolls.
- Makes 4-5 servings.
