Basil Paloma

  1. Put 2 basil leaves and 1 grapefruit segment in a highball glass and muddle gently.
  2. Add 2 ounces silver tequila, juice of 1/2 lime, and 1/2 ounce simple syrup.
  3. Stir gently.
  4. Add ice, 3 ounces grapefruit juice and soda to top.
  5. Stir gently again.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge.
