  5. cream of tartar with 1/4 tsp.
  6. bicarbonate of soda.
  7. This is the equivalent of 1 tsp.
  8. of commercial baking pwdr and has 225 milligrams of sodium.
  9. To make sodium-free baking pwdr, eliminate the sodium bicarbonate and substitute potassium bicarbonate that is available at pharmacies.
